Special events vintage farm truck specialising in authentic Italian woodfired pizzas

Opportunity

In addition to the Bill’s Burgers project, we partnered up with the Australia’s leading food truck manufacturer Van Demon’s Vans for round two. This time we were commissioned to develop a fresh brand identity for Sons of Napoli; a special event’s licensed bar and wood fried pizza truck. 

Needless to say, we were very excited to deliver a fresh brand for the special events catering industry. Maybe we could even negotiate a ‘taste test’ for research purposes? Deliziosa!

Challenge

The Sons of Napoli 1947 Dodge Forgo farm truck is undoubtedly a vintage beauty and the ultimate branding solution should compliment and enhance it’s aesthetic appeal and characteristics. At the same time it needs to have  an obvious vintage influence, whilst still remaining clean, modern and sophisticated.

All hands on-deck

At the time of commission the truck was literally on Van Demon’s production line. Working directly with the fit-out team really helped guide the roll-out process of the project and also presented a very nice opportunity to evolve the vision collaboratively. We quickly adopted the all-hands-on-deck approach as the artwork time-frames were extremely tight, and special event schedules were looming closer.
